to the gypsies i say

so having 3 kids is harder than two, mostly because the middle child is rebelling and causing me to want to sell her to gypsies. yesterday she dumped out 1/3 a can of formula all over her room (dh was supposedly watching her while i layed down, yet he came to wake me up for me to come see....and somehow even this was my fault because i had left it on the counter  as opposed to where?? its always on the counter where was HE!) and then after she'd been punished and put to bed, she managed to get out while we were outside and got one of her teenage cousins to give her some pb crackers, the orange kind......and proceeded to make a nice big mess on her bed with those. I was like, seriously guys......go vacuum it up. And they did. But still! She's 2 almost 3 don't just give her what she points out (facepalm). 
Today has thankfully gotten somewhat easier. Everyone is dressed! Total win there! Kate's hair is brushed! and I successfully fed Connor . Kate . Angel lunch and got Sam to sleep (even if it is on my chest and she whines if i put her down).

3 kids ....harder than 2

So today is my first day on my own with all 3 kids. Ben had to go back to work even tho it's only been 3 weeks since Samantha was born and I had my c-section. Money unfortunately does not grow on tree's any quicker in Virginia than it does anywhere else. So....its been pretty interesting considering its only 1pm. Currently Connor is on the computer playing games, Kate is "napping" in her room which I can assume only means she's making a mess, but atleast she's doing it quietly. Sam, is sleeping on my chest. At this point I'm considering selling the first two and just keeping the 3rd. Anyone want a 6yr old and an almost 3yr old. Totally free, and they come with accessories!! 

Please tell me it gets easier........it does get easier right?

yesterday&today

Yesterday the dishwasher decided to break. Thank-God for craigslist and good friends, we found one to replace it within hours and it only cost us 40.00. The lady was super nice and threw in some baby clothes because I mentioned that we had just had a baby and this was a horrible time for us to have our dishwasher break. She had a baby 2 months ago and had all these adorable baby girl nb clothes. Craigslist is awesome. 

Because he watched Hector install the old broken one (which wasnt old at all but apparently not worth the crap it was made from) Ben was able to install the "new" dishwasher without any problem! I was so proud of him and even more thrilled with sparkling clean dishes. Woo!

Today I sat For-Ev-eR at the WIC office getting Sam's checks. They weighed her and by their scale she's 8lb4oz. Which is a little more than her ped. was estimating for her just yesterday. But whatever, she's gaining weight and getting longer and thats just awesome! We got her some formula, Similac Sensative and it seems to be working even better than the Target brand soy formula we were buying her. Horray for WIC checks! I had connor with me and of course he was yapping the entire time to the pretty lady doing our forms. He's such a flirt. 

We decided that ben's going to go back to work 3 days early so we can get some $ flowin' around these parts again. I'm going to miss having him here and having his help with the kids but I miss having money even more! There are so many things I need to buy!

Samantha is sleeping, which means I should probably be sleeping too. 

I know the moment I go in there and put my head on that pillow she's going to develop some instant need for me to hold her, so I'm going to wait a few more minutes. She keeps changing every day her looks are changing little by little, her hair is so pretty and dark and her eyes look like they  might be dark gray or even almost black. <3 She's perfect. I'm going to spoil the bejesus out of her because she's my very last baby.
